RAFTING ON THE MARTHA BRAE
Board one of the bamboo rafts at Rafting on the Martha Brae and gently float down a five-kilometer (three-mile) calm stretch of river just a few miles inland from the historic town of Falmouth. The trip lasts just over an hour and each raft accommodates two adults and up to two small children, with passengers sitting on a throne adorned with colorful flowers. The experience has attracted a number of famous figures over the years, including Queen Elizabeth II, Spike Lee, Kenny Rodgers, Johnny Cash, and Usain Bolt.
